CYDA Received the ‘Youth Welfare Fund’ 2024–25




Community Youth Development Awareness (CYDA) has been honored to receive the ‘Youth Welfare Fund’ for the fiscal year 2024–25. The cheque was formally handed over by Mr. Md. A. Mannan, Deputy Commissioner of Cox’s Bazar, and Mr. Moazzem Hossain, Deputy Director of the Department of Youth Development, Cox’s Bazar.

On behalf of CYDA, Chief Executive Mr. Arkanul Islam Rian, along with all members of the organization, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Department of Youth Development, Cox’s Bazar, for their continuous guidance and invaluable support.

They stated: “The role of youth is crucial in every nation. Providing them with proper direction, training, and opportunities is a milestone for any progressive society. In Bangladesh, the Department of Youth Development has been working as a true pathfinder—offering countless opportunities for training, education, and self-development. We sincerely acknowledge their tireless efforts and unwavering support that have helped CYDA achieve its goals.”

Through various skill development initiatives organized by the Department of Youth Development, CYDA members have been able to participate in training programs that fostered entrepreneurship, technology-based skills, and employment creation. These programs not only enhanced individual livelihoods but also contributed to the overall development of the community.

The Department’s support—through loans, workshops, awareness campaigns, and professional training—has strengthened CYDA’s capacity, efficiency, and confidence in working for youth empowerment.

We deeply recognize that this success would not have been possible without the sincere cooperation and guidance of the Department of Youth Development. Their continued encouragement has opened new doors of opportunity for our organization and our youth.

With heartfelt appreciation, CYDA pledges to continue working hand-in-hand with the Department of Youth Development to promote youth empowerment, innovation, and sustainable progress across the community.

"Not Accident, We Want Safety" demanding the urgent expansion of the Chattogram–Cox’s Bazar Highway

Eidgaon, Cox’s Bazar | November 7, Friday: A human chain was organized at the Eidgaon Bus Station demanding the urgent expansion of the Chattogram–Cox’s Bazar Highway into four to six lanes and the assurance of safe road communication. The program was initiated by the Community Youth Development Awareness (CYDA) , a government-registered voluntary youth organization, based in Eidgaon Upazila, Cox’s Bazar. Participants from various institutions, local organizations, and conscious citizens joined the demonstration, raising their voices against the growing number of tragic road accidents on the highway. "Mini-Marathon'25 is Organized by CYDA in Eidgaon, Cox’s Bazar"

“CYDA Mini Marathon 2025,” organized by CYDA, was held for the first time in Eidgaon Upazila on 12 December 2025, promoting the slogan “Run for Change.”. This event aimed to promote health awareness, positive youth engagement, and community unity. The marathon was held with the participation of volunteers and youths from various institutions of the upazila. A total of 70 runners took part in the event, which concluded in a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere. In the competition, Ilahi Noor secured the first position, while Riad Uddin became the first runner-up and Abdullah finished as the second runner-up. The event was attended by representatives from Eidgaon Humanitarian Foundation, YES Bangladesh, Islampur Blood Donors Society, along with numerous local volunteers.
