"Mini-Marathon'25 is Organized by CYDA in Eidgaon, Cox’s Bazar"


“CYDA Mini Marathon 2025,” organized by CYDA, was held for the first time in Eidgaon Upazila on 12 December 2025, promoting the slogan “Run for Change.”. This event aimed to promote health awareness, positive youth engagement, and community unity.
The marathon was held with the participation of volunteers and youths from various institutions of the upazila. A total of 70 runners took part in the event, which concluded in a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere.
In the competition, Ilahi Noor secured the first position, while Riad Uddin became the first runner-up and Abdullah finished as the second runner-up.
The event was attended by representatives from Eidgaon Humanitarian Foundation, YES Bangladesh, Islampur Blood Donors Society, along with numerous local volunteers.
Speaking at the program, Arkanul Islam Rian, Chief Executive of CYDA, said that sports play a vital role in the physical and mental development of young people. He added that the marathon reflects community unity and the spirit of positive change, and that CYDA will continue to organize youth-oriented development initiatives in the future.
CYDA expressed sincere gratitude to all participants, volunteers, sponsors, and supporting organizations for their cooperation.
