CYDA Launches Its Permanent Office to Expand Community Services
Community Youth Development Awareness (CYDA), has inaugurated its own office along with a discussion meeting.
The inauguration program was held on Saturday, 22 February 2025 at 2:00 PM near the Notun office area of Islamapur Union. The office was formally opened by the chief guest and inaugurator, Mr. Moazzem Hossain, Deputy Director of the Cox’s Bazar Department of Youth Development.
The program was presided over by the organization’s founder and director, Arkanul Islam Rian, and conducted by Rozina Akter, member of CYDA.
Special guests included Abidur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge of YPSA (Chattogram Division); Tarekur Rahman, CEO of YES Bangladesh; Upazila Youth Development Officer Mr Ilias Mia; Azad Hossain Talukder, and local representative Ms Lutfunnesa Lutfa, along with other members and leaders of the organization.
Since 2018, CYDA has earned recognition as a well-organized and skilled group for its contributions to quality education, climate change action, peacebuilding, child rights, youth skill development, emergency assistance, and various other social initiatives. The organization later received official registration from the Government’s Department of Youth Development.
By continuing its work with dedication, CYDA has set a remarkable example—growing from a village-level initiative to gaining appreciation across the entire union and upazila.
